How are you? I'm sorry that I didn't answer you e-mail bafore, but ihad a lot of exams!

As you know, this year I finish 4th ESO, so I graduate and I'd like you to come, it's going to be very nice! We're going to dance and sing, and a group of boys and girls are going o do a dramatization. We will play music while we're looking at the photos of our trips. Then, the headmistress will give us our diplomas and a present (I think)and, finally, we will drink horchata with our parents, the teachers and our friends.

after the graduation party we will have dinner all together and then, we will stay there dancing until late (you can come, if you want to!)

SKINNY MODELS

We see very thin models everyday and everywhere. When we urn on the TV, we can see their flawless faces and their skinny bodies; when we are walking, we see perfect girls in posters, advertisig clothes that we'd like to wear.

That girls represent the perfect body to a lot of girls, that want to be like them. And...that can be a problem.

On the one hand, there's that "world" of perfection that top models represent to the society. It has to be something to differentiate between top models and the rest of girls. And that something is their weight.

On the other hand, thus supposed perfection influences a lot of generations of girls, specially teenagers. Because of this, many girls want to look like the girls that they see in TV and in magazines. Sometimes, they become obsessed with their weigh and, sometimes they stop eating to be thinner.

In conclusion, I think models shouldn't be so thin, beacuse, apart from influencing a lot of girls, it's also unhealthy for them, because theri diet isn't correct, and neither their weight.

THE CORRECTION PENCIL

Last week, a group of students from Harvard University developed a new gadget, the Correction Pencil. With this pencil, you can be sure you won't make any mistakes, because it makes a sound when you are writing and you write something wrong, so you can erase the wrong word and write it in the right way, wich is indicated on the screen.

The inventors of the Correction Pencil have decided not to sell it, because a lot of students would use it in their exams to get a better mark, and they think that it wouldn't be fair to the students that haven't got that pencil.

CINDERELLA

A girl losts her father a works for her stepmother, with the only friendship of two mice. Do you think that she will ever go out of her house? She didn't, but one day something unexpected happened...
Cinderella was a very happy girl that lived in a very big house with her father. But, he got married again with a very bad woman. Cinderella's father died soon and she had to work for her stepmother and stepsisters (Griselda and Victoria), she became unhappy, then. One day a letter from the palace arrived, they invited Griselda, Victoria and Cinderella to a party. Her stepmother didn't want her to go, but with the help of Gus and Jack (her only friends, two mice) and her fairy godmother, she got a wonderful dress and two glass shoes. While she was at the party, the prince saw her and fell inmediatly in love with her, but Cinderella had to go home before midnight, so she ran away and lost one of her shoes. The prince found it, but he didn't see Cinderella anywhere, so he ordered his servants to look for her. Will he finally find Cinderella? To know this, you should watch Cinderella!
In my opinion, Cinderella is one of the films wich has more influenced my childhood and many other girls. It's very special for me, because it was one of my favouritr films, so I recommend to watch this film to everyone, you are never too old to enjoy it!

LAS HIJAS DEL FRÍO.

This book is about the investigation if the murder of a little girl. At the beggining of the winter the police found Sara's body in the sea. The head of the investigation, Patrick, recognized her. She was Charlotte's daughter, her wife's best friend. First it looks like an accident, but when they examined the body, they realused that Sara hadn't drown in the sea. It was a murder! Ther forensics found tap water, soap and... ash in her lungs.
Patrick hadn't got many evidences, so they started investigating her family. Sara's grandmother, Llian, blames their neighbour, Kaj and his son. But they weren't the murderers. When Patrick was completely desperate, he foud a connection between Sara's murder an a story happened eighty years ago. What will happen..will Patrick catch the murderer?

THE BAKERY

Last Saturday, I went to the shopping centre with a friend. We were very tired, because we had been all the afternoon shopping, so we went to the bakery to buy something sweet. Ther were a lot of people in the bakery, so it was very hot. Everyone was talking aloud and the baker couldn't hear anything. Suddenly, she fainted. Everybody was very worried and nobody knew what to do, so we phoned the doctor. By the way he arrived, the baker was already awaken, but she was very weak. After a few minutes, she was better and she could continue her work. Luckily it was only a blood preassure drop.

THE LOGGERHEAD TURTLE

The loggerhead turtle is a very endangered animal. Nowadays, there are only about 100,000 turtles left. However, people are trying to save them.

The loggerhead turtle lives in all the seas and oceans.It lives in deep waters, but sometimes is closer to the coastal area. This turtles are carnivorous, they eat basically fish, crustaceans, molluscs...

Why is te loggerhead turtle endangered? They are hunted because of its shell and its meat. Other problem is that some fishing boats destroy their habitat.

People are trying to help the loggerhead turtle, one example is the formation of entities and organisations to protect species and their environment. There are some projects to reconstruct their natural habitat (like LIFE posidonia).

To sum up, we should help the loggerhead turtle and other endangered animals. Because we don't want them to become extinct, don't we?
